Whitewater U14/15 Boys Team Wins Championship at Strike FC Valentine Cup Tournament

The Whitewater U15 boys team traveled to Oconomowoc over the June 3-4 weekend for the Strike FC Valentine Cup Youth Soccer Tournament. Whitewater won both of their preliminary games handily, 8-0 and 2-0. This put them into the championship match which was a thrilling, tight game. With less than two minutes remaining in the game, Adriel Gonzalez was awarded a penalty kick which he calmly drove the ball into the back of the net for a 3-2 lead. The defense held fast against an aggressive last-minute attack that included a corner kick with just seconds remaining!
